The season of festivities are here again and we couldn't be more excited. Eid-al Fitr 2018 is just around the corner. This year Eid is most likely to be celebrated on 15th or 16th May 2018. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of holy month of Ramadan. It is believed that the month of Ramadan is the period of spiritual renewal for the followers. People observe ritualistic fasts during the pious month to seek the blessings of the almighty, Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal, which begins with a feast to end the period of fasting. From meaty biryanis, kormas, niharis to a dozen kind of breads, and divine sharbats, a traditional Eid spread is indeed a foodie's dream come true. If you are hosting an Eid party this year here's a fully-planned menu to avoid all the fuss. 
Eid Party: Starters

Tender and melt-in-mouth kebabs have been a part of a quintessential Eid spread since time immemorial. This season of festivities indulge in the richness and flavours of the same. Starting with the iconic chicken seekh kebab.Succulent kebabs made from tender meat, masalas and seasoning, these skewered golden-brown delights are a treat to the soul. Time for desserts! And, there we saw you slurping already. Eid al-Fitr is also known as 'Meethi Eid.' Needless to say that desserts are a big part of the festivities. Sheer khurma forms an integral part of Eid celebrations. Sheer khurma is an authentic version of vermicelli pudding especially prepared for the festival of Eid.
